About ICECATS training
Training support for schools, from the policy to the playground
Over the last decade the ICECATS programme has been taught to almost 150,000 people, including pupils, teaching and support staff, auxiliary staff and parents.
We tailor every programme to the school in front of us, with key stage lesson plans you can keep delivering as part of the daily curriculum, plus prompts and learning aids for staff.

Further training for anyone who uses and has access to the building.

What we teach
Three responses every school should be able to run
Our procedures teach the fastest way to escalate and manage risk, with SEND needs built into personal emergency evacuation plans.
Lockdown
Securing the building and keeping everyone safe inside when there is a threat nearby or on site.
Invacuation
Bringing pupils and staff quickly indoors from the playground or field when the danger is outside.
Evacuation
Getting everyone out of the building calmly and accounted for, including pupils with additional needs.

Specially designed for a PVI or nursery setting, with wording and activities for the very youngest children.
